Your question presumes that the 96's are, in fact, less desirable, but I don't think you can back that assumption up. Who says they're less desirable? Some people here? Others here might disagree with them. Are 96's languishing for long periods of time when they're put up for sale compared to the other model years? Do they sell for less money than previous model years? As it is, it's a loaded question, so you're going to get a bunch of answers, all of which are merely opinion (in so far as they try to answer your question).
